A Few Thousand Words

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, these pictures were all taken with my phone, of things that I found humorous or that otherwise enticed me to capture them. Hopefully you'll be able to enlarge these, as I'm unable to zoom on my phone. The pictures are in no particular order (definitely not chronologically), especially since Blogger loads them all in reverse order.

This was the scene in front of a house in Rexburg. In the center of the photo you can see a cannon and a stack of cannon balls.

Hard to see, but the second full snowman from the left has a hole from the cannon

Jaguar hood ornament mounted on a late 90's Ford Ranger (Which has since been removed, possibly stolen)

You know the state is in financial trouble when this is the ice scrapper in a state car

Hard to tell, but this is the top of the steering wheel in the same car, worn down to the metal!

Out the back door at the Squires'

Taken a week or two ago while driving to work

I should probably fill up

This is something dead, a K-9 of some sort, that I came across while 4-wheeling on the hill behind the Squires'

Wait, so THOSE wires could kill me?!? (Taken while 4-wheeling)

A "crop-circle" on the backside of the hill

July 16, 2009

When I'm in Twin Falls I stay with Jess' aunt, who has two 18 y/o boys and a 14 y/o daughter. These signs were on the door of the pantry

Make sure you hold on tight when pull-starting the 4-wheeler (My thigh)

I could have sworn it was the 14th

A Topaz, just like the one I used to drive (although this one has one Tempo tail-light)

Who knew Hollywood video dealt in kids!

January 21, 2010 (In Twin, clearly not Rexburg)

Ford Econoline, similar to the one we had growing up

Yes, that snowwoman is pregnant. And yes, that pig, with a syringe in its butt that says "H1N1" is being held up by red, white and green balloons, the same colors as the Mexican flag (blame much?). (Doctor's office in Rexburg)

Only at K-Mart is "clearance" considered items priced between $1.99 and seven hundred dollars!

Oh, and one other thing. I thought it very interesting that your car temperature went from 105 deg at 4:40 to 44 deg at 4:44. That's a big drop. Could you see your breath?

I too enjoyed your pic's and your humor. Free kids w no due dates. Interesting. And now K-Mart is in the adoption business and for cheap.
Better take it easy on the 4 wheeler. Beautiful scenery shots tho.
The only thing the snowman was missing is a white flag. Definitely needs that.
Maybe those house rules are really for you and they didn't want to come right out and tell you.
Today is Pres. Day. Are you off too? Or off to TF?

They made me laugh. I feel for the 'snowwoman' I know her pain. lol If I took my kids to K-Mart, how much do you think I could get for them? They're a little 'broken in'.

Oh yeah, speaking of the snow men. I liked "Bambi".
